I also used to never like or comment on anything, anywhere! Sharing myself now, I’ve realized how much it means when someone takes the time to interact with you about your work. 🙂 congrats to one year on Substack! 🤍
Oh, the same here, Courtney. I have started liking and commenting on some YouTube videos now, as well as Substack. Knowing how much work went into it from the writer, it’s a nice gesture we can do to appreciate their work ☺️ with that said, thank you for engaging 😊
In the second year, I plan to include the introduction reviews with other writings, recommendations and regular time management tips—a lot to look forward to. I appreciate your support 🙏
Jana congratulations on one year on Substack! I love your growth line, you can clearly see your growth is accelerating, so exciting! Here's to Year Two!
Thank you, Mack. It is, indeed. The most rewarding is the engagement with readers. Also, the readers who were with me before the Substack started returning to email and reading them, not all, but some. It's good so far 😊
I didn't know we started Substack roughly around the same time! It's so cool to see how similar yet different our journeys have been. Congratulations on your one year :)
Ah, that's amazing fellow-similar-start-date friend! I am interested, how do you find the Substack and the journey here? Thank you, when is your anniversary?
It's incredible on here, and my anniversary is some day in August of 2024. I'm excited to review my own work then. The difference in 1 year can be huge.
I look forward to reading your year in review and celebrating with you! What happens after week 52 on Substack is unbelievable, you will see. But even without crossing to August, you have regularly published weekly, Sunday, I believe?! That is amazing. You put so much effort and depth into your work; it comes through. And you've done it regularly. Well done for the hard work and consistency. You've built amazing publications over the year!😊
Happy one year on Substack! I enjoyed your one year recap and the lessons learned. Excited for your continued growth :) Also wanted to add: writing weekly is not easy and takes great discipline. Congrats on your consistency!
Thank you, Millie. I am so glad you enjoyed the recap and for finding time to read it. You're 100% right: Writing weekly isn't easy and takes great discipline. That is, I think, the second-best accomplishment—Substack somehow helps to stay consistent. The best thing about being on Substack is engagement.
Congrats on your anniversary Jana. Lovely to read about your year here on Substack 😊 And I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets stuck on logos etc.... definitely not my forte!
I'm glad, Vicki. If you struggle with logos, in the next couple of weeks, I am posting an article on Logos and doing a bit of research around what experts advise and also what other publications do 😊 I will tag you once it's released to remind you 😊
