Thank you again Jana for having me as a Coffee Break guest! I've enjoyed getting to know you through writing this year - and I'm sure plenty of others will too, so no need to delete all and start from scratch 😉

Wishing you a break that's full of lots of good reading time! 📚

Jana thank you so much for doing the Behind the Substack series. As you know, I am a sucker for a good series :). I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Thank you, Mack! The same here; I love to learn about other writers' experiences, so I will need to invite you to answer my questions in 2025--it'd be great to have you! Merry Christmas and the most wonderful holiday.

Oh thank you Jana, that’s such an honor! I’d love to maybe in the Spring, I feel like I am still learning so much plus my results aren’t that impressive…yet. Your success inspires me to keep going, so thanks for that!

A more squiggly journey is better than a straight path to success. I feel readers get more out of stories which they can relate to. I feel like it's not working for me all the time, but I like the challenge. All the best to you, Mack

The psychology lesson was great. Such important points.

I'm honored to have been part of your Behind the Substack series of posts, and I've really enjoyed reading and learning about other writers on Substack. You've also recommended some wonderful books that I've purchased and read (some).

I enjoy you and your Substack so much. I look forward to reading more from you and hearing about your new adventures.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Daria. It was a pleasure to collaborate with you. You know, you have mentioned the books and my recommendations before, which is why I have gone in this direction towards non-fiction books and my love for them. So, you helped me clarify the direction for the CB. Thank you so much. You're a good influence on me 😊

As so often happens, you have once again served up a fabulous tidbit of insight that perfectly complements something I’m writing. So, thank you for that! And thank you also for such a great series of behind-the-scenes interviews, AND for inviting me to be among those to answer your fabulous questionnaire. I’m excited to see that I missed a couple, and now can catch up! Wishing you all the best of the season and hoping we get to have some more fun together in 2025!

Aw, thank you! I am glad to hear that and look forward to reading more once you publish. Interviews are so much fun, and they are probably my favourite part of my publication. Have a great holiday, and I wish you all the best in 2025. We will definitely get collaborating again; I look forward to it.

I know this wasn't exactly the point of this post but I hadn't heard the phrase "arrival fallacy" before and it's a good one! Perfectly describes what it is. And thanks for the book recommendations; I already have something like 10 books on my Christmas list but a few more can't hurt right?!

Thank you, Lucy. I struggle with arrival fallacy a lot 😊 wow! Ten books for Christmas is a lot, but you have this! Any good book I should add to my list?

I often have a list that long for Christmas, I can't help myself 🙈 When it comes to choosing what to read next, I like having options and so always have a few (?a lot?) of "to read next" books 😊 ones I'm especially looking forward to this time are Screwtape Letters and Chasing The Dragon 🙏
